Building Study Committee

THE BUILDING STUDY COMMITTEE IS CHARGED BY THE SELECTMEN TO EVALUATE AND DETERMINE THE CURRENT AND FUTURE SPACE NEEDS OF ALL TOWN DEPARTMENTS AND DECIDE HOW AND IF CURRENT TOWN OWNED BUILDINGS CAN FILL THOSE NEEDS.

FUTURE CONCERNS ARE THE SPACE NEEDS AT TOWN HALL FOR ALL DEPARTMENTS AND HOW TO BEST USE EXISTING TOWN OWNED FACILITIES TO ACCOMODATE THOSE NEEDS. THE BUILDINGS INCLUDED IN THIS STUDY INCLUDE THE TOWN HALL, DPW GARAGE, MAIN FIRE STATION, THE POLICE STATION, CARNEGIE LIBRARY, COMMUNITY BUILDING,THE AMERICAN LEGION HALL, OLD FOREST FIRE STATION AND THE FRONT BEACH RESTROOMS. OTHER BUILDINGS MAY BE ADDED BY THE SELECTMEN.
